On this page you can see our currently available selection of exquisite wooden urns for ashes that come at a reduced price. Please note that both human and pet urns may be included in this category. Generally speaking, a price would usually be reduced for one of two reasons.

One is that there could be a small defect – either introduced by the maker, or discovered by him or her in the raw material itself at a late stage in production. If the price drop is within 10%, we see these defects as negligible, but we want to acknowledge them nonetheless for transparency. Our production process is demanding and we keep the outcome of our work to a high standard, however Luxi urns are 100% handmade by real people (either ourselves or one of our talented suppliers, or as a joint effort) and they are made of 100% real wood.

The other reason for a reduced price could be a form of the latter above – when we think that the natural wood pattern isn’t as spectacular as hoped for, or (in the case of stained urns) that the wood didn’t take stain as expected. In other words, it would be a matter of appearance based on our subjective opinion.
