Through all the hard work that goes into sourcing quality raw material (wood pieces carefully picked by hand), ensuring that it meets production requirements (e.g. humidity level), preparing it for production, crafting it and finishing it by hand, each of these Luxi keepsakes strives for excellence. As it is with handcrafted pieces, types of wood, finish and colours will all vary from one urn to another, and it is only the urn’s shape that we try to replicate as best we can, and colours, if stained wood is required.
Working on fewer forms a day supports focus and productivity, allowing us to continue perfecting the design and the techniques we use, which results in streamlined production and reliable product availability.
