Inspiration
Luxi Afterlight is designed to celebrate the light of life, offering a meaningful and dignified tribute to a loved one. Inspired by the transition from the restless waves and many currents of a life lived to the stillness beyond, this elegant urn captures the quiet beauty that follows the passing of a storm. The interplay of expansive, uninterrupted surfaces and flowing reliefs recalls the movement of water meeting a peaceful shore, while the balanced composition conveys a sense of confidence in the lasting tranquillity beyond life's journey. Its gently interrupted symmetry reflects the many layers of our existence and the intricate patterns that shape a life. The near-mirroring of its front and back hints at the profound connection between beginnings and endings.
Inspired by the ancient rivers of the underworld, particularly Lethe, associated with forgetfulness and release from the burdens of the past, Luxi Afterlight invites us to contemplate the art of transformation. Understated and timeless, this urn can be personalised with a symbolic ornament, creating a deeply personal tribute to a life remembered.
