Handmade of strong Beech wood, the urn shows nostalgic wood pattern coming through the stain. The clean and modern design features a sun-like insert made of the beautiful Ash wood. The subtle shine comes from our natural matt finish.

- The word ‘aquiver’ builds on simple ‘quiver’ and it means ‘trembling’ or ‘shaking slightly, often because of strong emotion’.
- The urn’s shape widens at the bottom with wings in mind, the stain resembles the sky and the water, and the round light insert – the Sun.
- As the myth has it, one day young Íkaros (Ἴκαρος in Ancient Greek, or Icarus in Latin) ignored his father’s direction, flew too close to the sun and melted the beeswax in the wings constructed by Daedalus (his father). In consequence, he sadly fell into the sea and drowned. Devastated Daedalus called the nearest land Icaria in his son’s memory.
