No. 112 – Silent Hiraeth

 260.00 ( 319.80 incl. VAT)

This exquisite pet urn will do the justice to your special friend and remind you of them in a dignified way, whenever you look back at it. Handmade of harder to obtain, stunning Applewood, the urn delights with its naturally marble-like pattern. The modern artisan shape remains classic enough and it has been beautifully completed with a stunning lid insert made of Walnut wood. The whole emits the subtle shine of our natural matt-finish. As it’s a bit larger, it will make one of the best dog urns (see below for details).

We strived for excellence when making this urn, because we think this is what it takes to celebrate the light of life at the difficult time when it’s lost. We hope that you will find it supportive and comforting to know that it is one of a kind, fine item, carved by hand with love, care and attention.

Luxi Silent Hiraeth is a perfect choice to celebrate the light of life, when you find yourself missing your friend a great deal.

  • ‘Hiraeth’ is a Welsh word to describe a type of sorrowful homesickness, which acknowledges the irretrievability of one’s loss for what one cannot recreate – a place, time or another, or all of the above. It’s a deeply nostalgic longing for a place (be it physical location or a mental state) you can’t return to, or that never was.
  • Created from “hir” – long and “aeth” – sorrow or grief
