This exquisite pet urn will do the justice to your special friend and remind you of them in a dignified way, whenever you look back at it. Handmade of aesthetically pleasing Ash wood, the urn impresses with its naturally soothing pattern and a nostalgic stain hue. The artisan shape with a powerful inspiration (see below) has been beautifully completed with the subtle shine of our natural matt-finish.
We strived for excellence when making this urn, because we think this is what it takes to celebrate the light of life at the difficult time when it’s lost. We hope that you will find it supportive and comforting to know that it is one of a kind, fine item, carved by hand with love, care and attention.

Luxi Chestnut Mångata is a perfect choice to celebrate the light of life, especially when you’re seeking to give peace and need to secure some for yourself.
- Mångata is a Swedish word for ‘the road-like reflection of moonlight on water’ – måne is ‘moon’ and gata is ‘road’, so it’s a ‘moon road’, if taken literally. With this urn being both broad and rounded on the top, as well as due to its colour and the wood pattern, it was an easy connotation for us.
- The thick and still water of Nybroviken [a bay in Stockholm] reflected a broad, glistering mångata in oily serpents, and along the quay the ships raised a sparse and immobile forest of masts and rigging. //1893, Hjalmar Söderberg, Margot [source]
- Chestnut is not due to the wood type but due to the colour of the wood stain used.
